DEVILS CLAW

Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens), an herb native to southern Africa, is primarily used for its purported anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. It is available in various forms, including capsules, tablets, teas, and topical creams. 
Common Uses
Devil's claw is most commonly used as a complementary or alternative treatment for:
Osteoarthritis It may help reduce pain and improve mobility in people with osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Some evidence suggests it may allow for lower doses of conventional pain medications (NSAIDs).
Back Pain Studies suggest that taking devil's claw orally may help relieve non-radicular lower back pain.
Rheumatic and Muscular Pain It is used to address general muscle and joint pain, including conditions like tendinitis, bursitis, and fibromyalgia.
Digestive Issues Traditionally, it has been used as a bitter tonic to stimulate appetite and ease mild stomach upset and indigestion, although scientific evidence for this is insufficient.
Topical Applications When applied topically in balms or gels, it is used for local relief of sore muscles, sprains, bruises, boils, and other skin irritations.
